Wooden panels can be installed in a variety of rooms and spaces, depending on your preference and design goals. Some popular places to install wooden panels are the living room, bedroom, dining room, cinema room, home office, and hallways. They can also work well in places like restaurants, cafes, hotels, resorts, reception areas, and retail stores. FORM AT WOOD panels are versatile decorative options that can be easily installed on almost any flat and smooth surface, including walls, floors, ceilings, and more. They serve as excellent decorative elements for furniture, bar fronts, and even door embellishments.

Ultimately, where you choose to install wooden panels depends on your personal style, the atmosphere you want to create, and how you plan to use the space.

The panels in the EDGE, SMOOTH, FLAT, and DESIGNERS collections, regardless of shape (triangle, diamond, or square), all feature a side length of 25 cm. This uniform size allows for creative combinations and unique compositions, reflecting the core design philosophy. The specific dimensions are as follows:

  • Triangle profile panels: 250mm x 217mm (9.8’’ x 8.5’’)
  • Diamond profile panels: 375mm x 217mm (14.8’’ x 8.5’’)
  • Square profile panels: 250mm x 250mm (9.8’’ x 9.8’’)

The panels feature a 12mm plywood structural layer, paired with a decorative solid wood section that ranges in thickness from 2.5mm to 19mm, depending on the series or model. The total thickness of each panel is as follows:

  • TRIANGLE, CARO, SQUARE: 14.5mm (0.6’’)
  • PYRAMID, IMPRESSIONS: 25mm (1’’)
  • DIAMOND, PILLOW, CARO PLUS, CARO MINUS, ARCH: 30mm (1.2’’)

The total thickness of each HEXAGO panel varies by product, as follows:

  • HEXAGO CM-A, HEXAGO CM-D: 92mm (3.6’’)
  • HEXAGO P-A: 87mm (3.4’’)
  • HEXAGO CM-A FLAT, HEXAGO CM-D FLAT, HEXAGO P-A FLAT: 77mm (3.0’’)

Customer satisfaction is a top priority, which is why custom projects are available, including new patterns, different profile dimensions, or thicknesses. FAW technology enables the modification of existing patterns or the creation of entirely new panel models. However, the process of developing an original pattern necessitates substantial time and resources that include testing and prototyping. The feasibility of a custom design depends on factors such as order size and contribution to prototyping and development costs.

The panels feature a two-layer structure. The base is made from waterproof birch plywood, reducing the risk of warping caused by humidity changes. The top layer is a solid wood plank that serves as a decorative surface. Both layers are securely bonded with wood glue to ensure a cohesive material.

The standard collection of wooden decorative panels is designed with 3D shapes that act as sound diffusers. A series of acoustic panels were created in partnership with the AGH University of Science and Technology to exhibit dual functionality of sound dispersion and absorption. The HEXAGO series includes panels that have the most superior sound absorption ratings, classified as Class A (HEXAGO CM-A, HEXAGO P-A, HEXAGO CM-A FLAT, HEXAGO P-A FLAT) and Class D (HEXAGO CM-D, HEXAGO CM-D FLAT).

The main difference between the EDGE and SMOOTH series lies in their visual design. The names reflect the distinct characteristics of each collection. In the EDGE series, panels feature sharp geometric shapes formed by cutting planes at various angles, creating prominent edges. In contrast, the SMOOTH series has a single organic edge dividing the two planes, resulting in a more flowing and gentle appearance.

Understanding that every project is unique, gathering specific details helps provide the best service. Key information includes:

  • The panel model and type of wood you’re interested in
  • Your intended application

Lead times depend on order size and current workload. Smaller orders, up to 50m² or 100 acoustic panels, typically have a lead time of 5-7 weeks, plus shipping time. Larger projects are handled on a case-by-case basis to ensure expectations are met.

All products come with a standard European warranty, offering coverage for 2 years from the date of purchase.

The thickness depends on the chosen shape. FLAT panels have a thickness of approximately 30mm. If 3D panels are used to build the lamp, the total thickness will increase by 15 mm.

All products come with a standard European warranty, offering coverage for 2 years from the date of purchase.

The panels feature a dedicated mounting system for easy hanging and removal when needed. Unlike other wood wall panels that are glued, each Form at Wood lighting panel is individually mounted and includes a plug for simple connection and disconnection.

Each lighting panel allows for adjustments in color and intensity, and it is compatible with dimmers for customized lighting control. The modern LED system enables transitions between cool and warm white, with dimming options. Control is available through a mobile app or a manual remote.

Standard decorative wooden panel shapes—triangle, rhombus, square, and hexagon—can be freely used. The lighting base is compatible with all our wooden decorative panel models.

There are two ways to connect the lamps:

  • Professional installation: Lamps can be connected to pre-installed wires hidden in the wall, all leading to a central power supply and controlled by a single wall switch. This method requires an electrician to ensure safe and proper setup.
  • DIY-friendly: Each lamp includes a connection wire that attaches to a 24V power supply, which can be plugged into a standard 110-230V DC power source. This easy setup allows for installation without the need for an electrician.

Installation is similar to standard decorative wooden panels. For direct wiring, wires should be pre-routed to designated spots. Alternatively, wiring can run behind the panels within the glue layer, connecting to the power supply.

The lighting panel consists of Form at Wood decorative wooden panels, with an integrated LED strip running along the edge.

Fully assembled LED wall panels are provided, and ready to connect with cables and plugs. All necessary components and wiring instructions are included.

Lamps can be crafted from any panel in our standard decorative wooden panel collection.

When creating a project, the lamp placement will be identified, allowing for proper guidance on the appropriate wiring setup.

Lighting panels offer flexible connection options—they can be connected individually, so each lamp operates separately, or grouped together. Each lamp has its own connection, which can be linked to a 24V power supply. One 24V power supply is provided as standard.

For separate lamp control, contact customer service for guidance.

Installing Form at Wood panels is simple. Each element is glued directly to the surface using mounting adhesive, similar to fitting puzzle pieces.

For acoustic panels, simply hang them on a wall hook.

Before installing the panels, it is imperative that you properly prepare the wall. Commence the cleaning process by eliminating any paint, wallpaper, loose plaster, or other decorative coatings on the wall. The wall should feature a smooth, dry, and grease-free surface. Applying a deeply penetrating primer is recommended to ensure secure installation.

To facilitate the panels’ adaptation to the ambient temperature and humidity of the room, it is advisable to bring them into the installation area 24 to 48 hours prior to installation. This process of acclimatization facilitates the panels’ adjustment to their surroundings. While installing, the act of pressing the panels against the wall results in the formation of a natural ventilation gap, typically ranging from 1 to 3 mm, contingent upon the quantity of adhesive used.

The installation of wooden panels in different rooms and spaces is contingent upon individual design preferences and objectives.

Prominent areas of interest include living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, home offices, cinema rooms, and hallways. In addition, they are highly effective in commercial environments such as restaurants, cafes, hotels, reception areas, and retail stores.

Form at Wood panels are versatile and can be installed on flat, smooth surfaces such as walls, floors, ceilings, and more. They also serve as exceptional decorative components for furniture, bar fronts, and doors.

Form at Wood products are specifically designed for indoor use. The warranty does not cover any damage caused by outdoor exposure. Natural wooden panels are sensitive to moisture, temperature changes, intense sunlight, and UV radiation.

Exposure to outdoor conditions like rain, snow, or direct sunlight can lead to cracks, discoloration, and accelerated aging of the wood. To maintain the panels’ longevity and appearance, it is essential to keep them strictly indoors and protect them from outdoor elements.

When installing panels in high-humidity rooms, it’s important to consider the potential for wood deformation and increased surface roughness. Humidity can cause the wood to expand, resulting in a less smooth finish.

While there are no strict restrictions on using wood in bathrooms, it can be an issue in areas with poor ventilation where moisture lingers, such as after a bath. It’s not recommended to install panels in areas with direct water contact, like inside a shower.

It is not recommended to install wooden panels near fireplaces, stoves, or radiators, as direct exposure to high temperatures can cause the wood to dry out and deform. However, installation can be considered if proper insulation is applied between the heat source and the panel surface to prevent any damage to the wood.

The panels are versatile and can be mounted on any surface. For safety, especially when installing on ceilings or inclined planes, it is recommended to screw the panels to a structure rather than relying solely on adhesive. Form at Wood is not responsible for installations carried out by third parties.

The ideal air humidity for wooden panels falls within the range of 45% to 60%, considering a temperature range of 18-22°C. In winter, wood has a tendency to rapidly diminish its moisture content, leading to shrinkage and deformation.

It is essential to regularly monitor humidity and temperature in rooms that have wooden components. It should be emphasized that the ideal conditions for wood closely mirror the environment in which humans experience the highest level of comfort.

Currently, Form at Wood does not hold an FSC certificate, but the panels are made from natural materials, with wood sourced from suppliers certified for sustainable forest management by FSC.

With qualities like timeless design, universal use, functionality, and durability, the products are built to last for many years. Additionally, the company is actively involved in pro-environmental efforts, including tree planting and other socially impactful initiatives.

Wood functions as a natural regulator of indoor air humidity. Its “breathing” characteristics enable it to absorb moisture in humid conditions and release it in dry air. The effectiveness of wooden furniture, flooring, and Form at Wood panels in regulating ideal humidity levels enhances the comfort and well-being of the individuals occupying a room.

Prioritizing long-term customer satisfaction is of utmost importance, and ongoing comprehensive support is always accessible.

This commitment entails offering support for any technical issues and providing advice on appropriate techniques for maintaining the panels, guaranteeing their long-lasting quality and dependable functionality for many years.

The standard hardwood panel selection includes three durable and aesthetically pleasing wood species: European Oak, American Walnut, and Ash. These alternatives provide outstanding longevity and enhance the visual appeal of any environment. Additionally, panels can be made from other wood types upon custom request, depending on the availability of the specific material.

The standard finish for wooden panels includes hard wax oils and decorative finishes, with the option of also varnishing available.

The choice of finish depends on factors like the wood type and individual preferences. A variety of finishes are offered to ensure the perfect match for any project style.

Oil finishes penetrate the wood, nourishing it from within while preserving its natural “breathing” properties and enhancing the wood’s color and grain. Varnishing, on the other hand, forms a protective surface layer, giving the wood a richer color while still showcasing its natural structure. Varnishing also offers more color options and adds extra protection against damage and humidity.

Form at Wood’s official range has been meticulously selected to provide a diverse array of hues, enabling you to harmonize panel colors with other materials in your project or space. Apart from the standard finishes provided in the color card, there are also custom finishes offered to cater to particular project requirements and market expectations.

Varnishing is a highly effective method for attaining the intended decorative color for panels. The extensive selection of RAL palette colors enables careful customization to complement the aesthetic of your room. Even when completely covered with the selected varnish, the inherent wood grain and texture remain apparent, providing both a customized color palette and the enhanced aesthetics of the wood’s natural characteristics.

This option is also available. In the manufacturing process, the application of oil or varnish represents the production process. However, if there is a preference to finish the panels independently or to receive them in raw wood form, this can be arranged upon request.

An extensive range of premium oils from renowned brands such as Osmo, Ciranova, and Oddies Oil is offered for the oiling option. The diverse range of colors available facilitates the customization of the panel finish to align with the intended design.

In addition, there is the opportunity to propose a favored oil for the panel finishing process. By supplying the manufacturer’s name, a precise color number, or a sample of the desired finish, and the production team will work to find the perfect match. Ensuring that the oiled panels enhance the desired decor is a top priority.

Standard panels are finished with a hard wax oil, achieving a fireproof rating of D-s2, d2. For public spaces requiring fire-resistant materials, special fire-resistant coatings such as Ciranova UN1CO oil or Hasse MEGA-PUR varnish are available, meeting fire rating B-s1, d0. Please note that fireproof panels may have a longer production time and higher cost.

Wooden decorative panels can be readily trimmed to precise measurements using tools such as a miter saw or other accuracy cutting instruments designed for wood. Should appropriate tools be unavailable or if there are concerns about panel damage, assistance can be offered by trimming the panels to the required dimensions prior to shipment.

Yes, this option is available. A frequently used technique is veneering, where a thin layer of wood (veneer) is applied to the panel edges to enhance their polished look. This method is frequently employed for external panels characterized by visible edges.

Alternatively, DIY stores offer a range of finishing strips, including wood strips, aluminum or brass flat bars, and LED strips, to cater to different consumer preferences.

If a suitable color isn’t found among the available options, customized solutions are offered. Simply share specific requirements through the contact form to explore tailored options.
