Residential Tower in Los Angeles
Rottet Studio approached us with this Grand Staircase project for a Mitsui Fudosan residential tower, which we remixed with our own Reeds design and fabricated with Corian© Solid Surface sheets. To bring this ambitious project to life we had to account for aesthetic beauty, structural safety and practical constructability.

Iconic stairway in the heart of LA
The Grand Staircase at 8th & Figueroa, a luxury apartment tower in Downtown LA, is a striking architectural centerpiece. Designed in collaboration with Rottet Studios, the staircase features meticulously carved Corian® Solid Surface treads and walls, showcasing a seamless blend of artistry, computational design, and structural integrity.
Spanning over 1,500 square feet, each custom-carved component contributes to the staircase’s fluid, sculptural elegance. Beyond its beauty, Corian’s durability and slip resistance made it the perfect material. The project culminated in a smooth installation, bringing this ambitious design to life.
